Marmora

Privacy Policy

Marmora is a concept project made for demonstration. It is not a registered business and arranges no real visits. Please do not send real personal details through the request form.

Last updated: [date]. This page explains what we do with your details when you send us a request, and what you may ask of us.

Who we are

The controller of your data is [company or person’s name], [address], [country] (“Marmora”). You can write to us at [contact email].

What we collect

When you send a request through the form, we receive what you type into it:

We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, and we do not build a profile of you.

Why, and on what basis

We use these details to answer your request, to ask the institution that keeps the work whether a visit is possible, and to arrange it if you wish. The basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form, and the steps we take at your request before any agreement is made. You may withdraw your consent at any time.

Who receives it

We do not sell your details.

The map

The map on this site loads its tiles from OpenFreeMap, so your address is visible to that service as it is to any website you open. If you use “Use my location”, your position is read in your browser only, and the two points of your route are sent to the free OpenStreetMap routing service to count the time. If you type a place, the text is sent to the Photon search service. We do not receive or keep any of this. The 3D models are loaded from Sketchfab only after you press play.

How long we keep it

We keep a request, and the messages we exchanged about it, for [period, for example 24 months] after we last wrote to you, and then delete it. If a visit is arranged, we keep what the law requires us to keep for as long as it requires.

Your rights

You may ask us for a copy of your details, to correct them, to delete them, to limit or stop our use of them, or to receive them in a portable form. Write to [contact email] and we will answer within one month. You may also complain to the data protection authority of your country, or to [supervisory authority in the operator’s country].

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new date.
